Used to come here all the time when it was a sizzler pub, staff used to be friendly n polite and food used to be amazing. But came here weekend just gone, not knowing it's turned into a Milton pub... Food was absolutely abysmal, chicken fillet was a sliver definitely not worth calling it a fillet and it was so tough n dry couldn't even cut through it, steak was over cooked and rubbery, kids pizza looked like it was from frozen, the salad was brown and sorry looking, burgers were tasteless and chips well over cooked... We spent £30 on food n drink here, would have been more satisfied going to a McDonald's, atleast you know what you're gonna get! Really gutted. Would've given it 0 stars but you need 1 star to post the rant lol

Visited the pub a few times for a pint. No issues. The other day me and a friend of mine had both purchased new cars so we decided to meet there. Take each car for a spin then have a quick pint.

So we did this but when we got back there was a group of people standing near the door. My friends new car had the wiper standing up so it looked like they had messed with it. Upon seeing that we didn't feel welcome so decided we'd leave instead of having a drink. As we walked back to our cars a lady walked up to us. She told us she lived and worked there and had a go at us for bringing our new cars there and not having a drink. She also had a lot more to say and wouldn't let us get a word in edgewise. She seemed to have a lot to say and had a big problem with us.

We tried to explain we were about to have a drink but she told us to get in to our cars and leave. Was extremely rude and repeated it several times for to get in to our cars and leave.

We were both horrified and couldn't understand what we had done wrong. It felt like we were not welcome just because we had new cars and also (I hate to say this) because neither of us were white. This is how it felt.

Well it goes without saying we'll never be visiting this place again. It's shocking that in this day and age people can still talk to you that way because of your colour or because of what you drive. Or whatever her reason was!

Came today for a meal, i chose "Roast of the day" i asked what that was and got told it was half chicken with veg, roasters, parsnips etc,... Waited over 40 minutes for our food and there were only 2 other couples eating, the rest of the visitors in the pub were watching football so its not as if they were rushed off their feet. My meal came out and it was a char grilled chicken fillet, the roasters were clearly from frozen, my parsnips were burnt, the gravy was watery way too many peas and carrots swimming around, and a very soggy Yorkshire pudding. Waited all that time to be served with disappointment, i will never eat here again. On the other hand, my boyfriend enjoyed his fish and chips.
